Responsibilities:
- Under general direction from our field Technical Team Lead, perform chiller preventive maintenance, repair, installation and replacement of associated HVAC mechanical equipment, chiller equipment control systems.
- Self-starter with a passion/ desire to learn and apply on the job.
- Provide our customers with the highest level of service to solve building inefficiencies and resolve service-related items.
- Ensures work is being performed in compliance with state, local and Federal legal requirements and operates on the job with the highest of ethics.
- Properly completes all required project and service documentation.
- Adheres to customer and CKCT safety standards.
- Uses best judgment on escalation for critical issues.
- Assists in developing quotes and estimates, as appropriate.
- Assists with the identification of material needs required for service delivery.
- Communicates with customers upon arrival and before leaving the work site.
- Ensures high levels of customer satisfaction by providing a world class experience.
- Assists with keeping customer informed on the nature of service provided outstanding issues and recommends system enhancements, upgrades, and or repairs as applicable.
- Conducts self-study (reading, research and practice) to improve and maintain technical proficiency.
- Completes all training and certifications as required by the client or CKCT.
Qualifications:
- Union Card Holder – Plumber and Pipefitter Local.
- High School Diploma, GED required.
- High tonnage, absorber experience a plus.
- 5 + years’ experience in general HVAC maintenance.
- 3+ years' experience in general chiller installation/ maintenance/service.
- Air cooled/ water cooled, various compressors.
- Clear Motor Vehicle Report.
- Ability to pass company drug screen and background check.
- Ability to be professional, courteous and pleasant with all clients.
- Ability to act independently.
- Effective interpersonal skills to represent CKCT properly to customers and other outside contacts.
- Ability to explain technical information to technical and non-technical people.
